We are accepting applications at both our Mount Laurel and Lumberton centers
Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Participate in planning fun multi-sensory learning moments and activities
- Support the teacher in maintaining appropriate and supportive relationships with parents
- Help bring lesson plans to life using creative methods and resources
- Assist with classroom set-up and organization
- Keep a clean and tidy classroom consistent with early learning standards and health and safety standards
- Support the teacher in keeping nap, recess and snack times organized using appropriate supervision methods with children to ensure they are safe at all times and ratios are maintained
Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Prior group childcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift 35 pounds
- CPR certification or completion of within six months of hire
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional references
- Reliable transportation
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19
