Hello my name Is Tina and I am the Director here at LTA.
Where do I start?
I first began my career with children when I made a career change from the corporate world and accepted an assistant position in the classroom at the public schools. After four years in the public school setting I was offered a director position at a childcare facility and the rest is history.
For the past 22 years I have managed 4 childcare facilities and it still seems like today was my first day into my new career.
To be surrounded each and every day with children is beyond what I could have imagined. I continue to be excited each and every day for endless possibilities and opportunities to enhance a child’s ability to grow, adapt and share in their joy. I love that my role gives me the opportunity to build relationships with our families as well as our children. My goal each and every day is for a child to learn and have fun through our play-based curriculum.
The moments I hold close to my heart are when a child masters a task they have worked so hard on, taking their first steps but when I hear “Miss Tina” I melt inside.
